Adam Rockefeller Growald is a philanthropist, investor, consultant, philosopher, and poet who has served as a trustee of the Growald Climate Fund since 2013.
In addition to his work with GCF, Adam also serves as a trustee of the David Rockefeller Fund and is a former board member of both the Rockefeller Family Fund and the National Center for Family Philanthropy. Adam is the founder and principal of Tree of Life Ventures and invests across sectors in companies that are committed to compassionate business practices and creating positive social and ecological impact. He is also a sought-after speaker and has presented at the United Nations, the Milken Institute's Global Conference, COP, and other conferences on topics ranging from business and philanthropy to spirituality and holistic wellness. Adam has worked as a consultant, both independently and with leading global firms including Bain & Company and Lippincott, advising clients on matters including business strategy and branding, naming and communications, culture, ethics, and organizational alignment.
Adam is a philosopher both at heart and by training. He holds a degree in philosophy from Princeton University and has studied wisdom traditions in and beyond the academic system.
