Liz Cipparone | Associate Director, Collective Impact

 

Liz provides backbone support to Growald Climate Fund’s growing network of philanthropic partners collaborating to accelerate the power sector transition to clean energy. She oversees network programming and convenings, communications, and data analysis to foster inclusion and alignment with network strategy and priorities.  

Prior to joining GCF, Liz was the director of communications at New Profit, a venture philanthropy organization that backs social entrepreneurs who are advancing equity and opportunity in the US. Before that, Liz managed the Reimagine Learning network, made up of over 700 cross-sector leaders in the US committed to redesigning public education to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Liz previously held business development and programming roles at Root Cause, a nonprofit consulting and research firm, and the Social Innovation Forum, a nonprofit accelerator program in Greater Boston. 

Liz holds a bachelor’s in history from Bates College and master’s in business administration with a focus on social impact from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Based in Boston, she enjoys the fun that all of New England’s seasons bring with her husband, son, and dog.
