About Growald Climate Fund

Growald seeks proven talent to support our network grantmaking program. We are a high-impact venture global philanthropy fund catalyzing the rapid transition to a clean energy future. We believe that philanthropy plays a key role in nurturing new climate solutions, supporting a vibrant civil society, and promoting objective research and analysis for use by governments and key NGO and foundation partners.

About our Network Leadership Approach

We know from experience that one of the most powerful tools for change is collective impact and network leadership. We support these efforts both through our grantmaking as well as through our direct engagement working to weave networks. By creating opportunities for connection and shared strategy development among philanthropists and, importantly, between philanthropists and the field, we are able to leverage greater impact and foster opportunities for innovation. We also help to catalyze and grow NGO-led collective impact initiatives by providing funding, strategic and organizational development support.

As a part of our network leadership efforts, the Growald Climate Fund supports an informal network of foundations aligning their efforts on encouraging clean electricity. Each year, we host an international gathering to learn together with foundations and NGOs how to achieve a just power sector transition. Growald also supports a portfolio of grants to pooled funds, collective impact efforts and NGO networks working towards an energy transition.
